Winston Damarillo

Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board

Winston Damarillo founded Exist in 2001. He is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and creating value for technology start-ups. Winston has founded multiple disruptive companies including Morphlabs, the world’s leading provider of converged dynamic infrastructure for Cloud Computing, and MaestroDev, developer of a world-class DevOps orchestration engine for enterprise companies.
Winston’s past entrepreneurial endeavors include several companies which he grew to profitability and subsequently sold to major IT players: Gluecode Software, an open source application infrastructure company which was acquired by IBM in 2005, LogicBlaze acquired by Iona Technologies in 2007, and most recently, Webtide, acquired by Intalio in 2009.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Winston was among the highest performing venture capital professionals at Intel, having led the majority of his investments to either a successful IPO or a profitable corporate acquisition.
Winston is one of the prestigious Young Global Leader (YGL) honorees for 2010 and an active participant of the World Economic Forum, a place where young leaders envision and create a brighter future. He founded DevCon Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to showcase the “IT Pinoy Talent” and was past board member and international marketing director for the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA), a non-profit organization that promotes the growth and global competitiveness of the Philippine software industry.

Michael Lim

President and CEO

Michael Lim is President and CEO of Exist and is responsible for leading Exist’s corporate strategy and operations.
A veteran with over 20 years experience in the Software & Information Technology industry, Mike directs the overall corporate direction, business strategy, and technology and product roadmap of Exist. In addition, he also oversees inter and intra-department activities in Exist that contribute to overall productivity and growth.
Prior to being named CEO, Mike served as COO and CTO respectively, where his work and dedication had delivered the engineering team to where it is today. He has played an instrumental role in making Exist stay ahead with technology, tooling, and development methodologies.
Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science degree from the De La Salle University and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. He also completed the Digital Transformation course in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Cindy Damarillo-Ty

VP for Finance

Cindy Damarillo-Ty is VP for Finance at Exist, overseeing the company’s financial strategy and operations. Her responsibilities include directing the company’s accounting and controllership, tax, treasury, internal audit, and financial planning and analysis. Prior to her role as VP for Finance, she served as Controller where she manages and oversees the daily financial activities and reporting of the organization.
As a co-founder, Cindy has been with Exist since its inception in 2001 and served as the Operations Manager.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of San Jose-Recoletos.

Christopher Silerio

VP for Operations

Christopher (Chriss) Silerio is currently the VP for Operations at Exist. He oversees the key functions of global project delivery and business enabling functions operations, including resource and project management, and Exist’s IT systems and infrastructure. During his almost 10 year tenure at Exist, he has played a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects. He provided technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures to streamline the development process and improve the project delivery.
Chriss has also been instrumental in setting up the Project Management Group in the company. He is the Product Owner of the Exist Distributed Engineering Network (DEN), a Project Management Tool that enables management and project monitoring.
Before his stint at Exist, Chriss was Project/Technical Lead for Misys, a software company that specializes in creating software for financial industry and Project/Technical Lead in AIG, a global insurance company. He has also been a Project Manager and System Analyst coming from industries such as Telecommunications and Finance. Chriss is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and a PMP Certified Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from Adamson University.

Jonas Lim

VP for Technical Service

Jonas Lim currently serves as the VP for Technical Service, where he is responsible for the overall technology direction of Exist’s Services business unit.
With his extensive technology expertise and experience in implementing business-critical applications and new technologies for various verticals, Jonas’ role will continue to position the company as a global IT solutions provider to help our clients transform the way they do their business. He is a pioneer member of the Exist engineering team, and as a leader, he has been instrumental in reforming and improving how the engineering team operates. Prior to his role as VP for Technical Service, Jonas became the VP for Engineering where he established the company’s Android mobile applications development group and served as architect behind a hospital information system that Exist delivered for a leading hospital in the Philippines. He previously contributed to open source projects in Apache including Jetspeed, Geronimo, Active MQ, and Service Mix.
Jonas holds a B.S. in Computer Science degree from Adamson University.

Catalino Pineda

VP for Product Innovation, Anahaw

Cata Pineda oversees engineering services delivery and plays a key role in enabling operational excellence. He runs the engineering department, leading a multi-talented group, composed of software engineers, architects, designers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers.
Cata brings over 10 years of software engineering leadership to Exist. He has been with the company since its founding. His past roles include being the Director for Research and Development and the Head of the Architecture Office.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines – Los Banos.

Willex Perez

VP for Healthcare Solutions, Medcurial

Willex Perez is the VP for Exist Healthcare Solutions, where he is responsible for the overall direction of Exist’s Healthcare IT business unit.
He manages all aspects of information technology and strategic planning for expanding Exist’s healthcare IT initiatives, including implementation of successful healthcare solutions. One of the founders of Exist, Willex headed the product development of Medcurial, innovative healthcare IT solutions that include a next generation fully-integrated hospital and clinical informations system, a web-based practice management and electronic medical records system for doctors and a laboratory information system used by top Philippine hospitals prepared for an integrated health future.
Willex holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University, Manila.
