Exist Code Camp launch announced
November 23, 2009, Manila, Philippines – Global Gateway Innovation Exchange, G2iX, the global technology innovation leader in cloud enablement, development automation and software development announced today the launch schedule of Exist Code Camp (ECC) 2010, its highly-successful training program.
Running under G2iX’s training and research arm, G2iX University or G2iXU, and now on its 4th year, ECC has expanded to reach more schools and attract earlier graduates who have not yet started their career in software development.
Graduates of the 6-week intensive program are now employed by global technology companies or have made a mark as contributors to open source projects.
“That all-important 6-week training program jumpstarted careers for more than 50 software developers in the last 4 years,” said vice president for engineering at Exist, Michael H. Lim. “Most of our graduates are employed by G2iX, which is composed of 3 companies: Exist, Morph Labs and MaestroDev. ECC assures its participants of a globally renowned employer upon successful participation in the program,” Lim adds.
Under the auspices of G2iX University or G2iXU and the link of Exist with the academe, ECC 2010 will be administered in early April 2010 and will run for 6 weeks. Another training camp will be held in Cebu in mid 2010. Applications to the program will open starting November 23.
