As a strong supporter of Developers Connect (DevCon) Philippines, a volunteer organization that promotes growth and competence of Filipino developers, Exist is proud to participate as an exhibitor sponsor at the 5th DevCon Summit on Nov 13-14, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

With the theme “#GoOpenSourcePH”, this event aims to gather 1,500 developers as well as the top 20 international and local contributors of open source technologies as we explore the latest tools, trends and practices towards becoming one of the best developers in the IT industry.

This two-day event features 7 keynotes and panel discussions as well as 9 special tracks and hands-on workshops where participants can up-skill themselves on a number of widely-used technologies and practices – all in one roof. Topics include Big Data, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Security, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Likewise, they can also get a hands-on experience on some of the workshop offers like Web Development, Mobile App Development, Game Development, User Experience (UX), and a whole lot more. The event will run multiple sessions simultaneously and the attendees can freely choose which track to attend to.

During the event, Michael Lim, President and CEO of Exist, a global consulting and IT solutions leader, will be speaking in a fireside chat / panel discussion on business of Open Source. Mike, along with Willex Perez of Medcurial and Alistair Israel of Acaleph, will be sharing their experience on how they are helping advance Open Source within their organization.

Together with Adrian Co, one of our software architects, Mike will also be speaking in one of the special tracks about web and Open Source. Entitled, “Understanding the State of your Web Application using Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming/Storm”, they will discuss web and big data components on November 14, 3:15pm at Meeting Room 3.

Exist will showcase its products and services as well as their contributions in the Open Source community at booth #C2. Be sure to drop by our booth to explore opportunities with us.
