MANILA, Philippines – April 24, 2017 —  As Japan opens its door to global approach, global technology consulting and IT solutions leader, Exist Software Labs, Inc. is set to take on the Japanese market once again with its participation at the Software & Apps Development Expo (SODEC) from May 10th to May 12th at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.

SODEC is Japan’s largest IT tradeshow featuring a variety of products for development, operation, and maintenance of software and apps, where more than 1,600 exhibitors and 90,000 visitors from various verticals are expected to gather.

“Japan is a very important market for us today, as it has been for many years, and SODEC provides us a platform for re-strengthening our ties to Japanese firms that are looking into increasing their global competitiveness,” says Exist President and CEO Michael Lim.

“We are in the midst of an exciting expansion in Japan as our firm continues to work on several opportunities in the region. We are trying to expand our operations with new connections and projects which we will announce once we secure the contracts,” Michael adds.

Led by the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) and supported by the Philippine government through the Department of Trade and Industry Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Exist together with the other participating companies will be showcasing its software development service capabilities that the Philippines can offer Japan.

Aside from offering its comprehensive portfolio of integrated IT solutions and services, (technology consulting, software development, systems integration, QA & testing automation, Big Data and analytics, and mobile application development) Exist will be exhibiting its two homegrown software solutions at the Philippine Pavilion Stand E8-1, namely Anahaw, a fully integrated retail solution and Medcurial, an integrated healthcare technology and clinical systems .

“Our technology expertise and experience in building innovative solutions for global companies made us a premier outsourcing partner to the Japanese market,” shares Michael. “This time, we’re bringing something special as we introduce Anahaw and Medcurial — both next-generation systems for retail and healthcare companies looking to advance and upgrade.”

To maximize the mission, the Philippine delegation will also be conducting a Philippine ITO/BPO Trade and Investment Seminar and Networking to be held on 9 May 2017 at the Osaki Bright Core Hall in Osaki, Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan.

During the seminar, Exist will be presenting the value of digital transformation and digital technologies such as Big Data to accelerating global competitiveness in its talk entitled, “Advancing Global Competitiveness Through Digital Transformation and Big Data”.

“Based on the evidence of the success of early adopters, we’d like to help business leaders in Japan understand the necessity of implementing digital transformation now,” shares Michael. “In doing so, they will be in a better position to help their organizations adapt thus be able to succeed and/or expand globally in this new era.”
