May 25, 2010, Manila, Philippines — Exist Code Camp (ECC), the unrivaled software development training program organized and managed by the innovative software development services company Exist Global, will hold its culmination rites today at Racks, El Pueblo in Ortigas Center. A total of seven graduates will be commended for a possible job offer as part of Exist’s award-winning software engineering team.

Exist Code Camp is bringing the next generation of IT graduates,” says Winston Damarillo, CEO of Exist. “We develop not only engineers, but also technology innovators. We’re very honored and thrilled to work with the academic community in molding aspiring software engineers into experienced IT professionals.”
Exist Code Camp, launched in 2006, provides IT graduates opportunities to experience what it’s like to work in a real business environment given world-class training and mentoring. The program runs every year — in Manila and Cebu — and is open to all IT graduates who want to deepen their skills in software development.
Out of almost 300 applicants from the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby provinces such as Laguna and Cavite, 15 were accepted to the Manila leg of ECC, which started April 5. The 15 participants, who were divided into enterprise Java and Ruby on Rails groups, went through three phases of technology training comprised of lectures and best practices on application development, hands-on programming exercises, and an actual software development project.
Today at the culminating rites, Exist commends seven brilliant and accomplished code campers, who came out on top of the class.
Remaining relentless in its mission to enable advancement of technology in the Philippines, Exist will kick off the Cebu camp on June 15 with 12 code campers.
