DevCon Mobile Camp. Intense!
The DevCon Mobile Camp held last 20 August 2011 at the O&B office was attended by 55 mobile development enthusiasts. The slots were limited despite the overwhelming response we got from 150+ online registrants. One of them, Abel from Central Mindanao University, even bought a plane ticket just to be able to join this bootcamp!

The event was opened with a plenary session on “The State of the Mobile Scene” by Ramon Pastor and Charo Nuguid. After which were the breakout sessions on Android training conducted by Charo and iOS training by Ramon.
Charo Nuguid is a training and development consultant for Java and Android technologies. She is also the co-founder of Mobile Monday Manila, the Philippine Mobile Developers and the Philippine Android Community. Ramon Pastor is a managing partner of Numlock Solutions, Co (a mobile app development company here in the Philippines).
The partners of Developers Connect Philippines (DevCon) for the said event are the Philippine Development Foundation (PhilDev – formerly Ayala Foundation USA), IBM Philippines, Morphlabs, Inc, and Exist Software Labs, Inc, Philippine Mobile Developers (PhMoDev) and Orange & Bronze Software Labs, Inc.
