Founder & Executive Chairman
Exist was founded in 2001 by Winston Damarillo, a Silicon Valley veteran with over 20 years of experience as a technology entrepreneur and venture capital professional.
He serves as the Executive Chairman of Exist Software Labs, an award-winning leader in enterprise software; Amihan Global Strategies (AGSX), a strategic consulting firm serving large corporations in Southeast Asia; and Acaleph, an infrastructure company pioneering software-defined storage.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University, and has completed executive programs at the Harvard Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Oxford.
Michael Lim
President & Chief Executive Officer
Michael Lim is President and CEO of Exist and is responsible for leading Exist’s corporate strategy and operations.
A veteran with over 20 years experience in the Software & Information Technology industry, Mike directs the overall corporate direction, business strategy, and technology and product roadmap of Exist.
Mike holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the De La Salle University of Manila and a degree in Executive Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA. Aside from holding two degrees, he also completed a Digital Transformation course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Cindy Damarillo – Ty
Vice President of Finance
Cindy Damarillo-Ty is VP for Finance at Exist, overseeing the company’s financial strategy and operations specifically directing the company’s accounting, tax, internal audit, and financial planning and analysis.
Cindy is one of Exist’s co-founders and first employees since its inception in 2001 where she served as the company’s Operations Manager.
She holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Jose – Recoletos Cebu.
Christopher Silerio
Vice President of Operations
Christopher Silerio is currently the VP for Operations at Exist. He oversees the key functions of global project delivery and business enabling functions operations, including resource and project management, and Exist’s IT systems and infrastructure.
Chriss is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and a PMP Certified Project Manager. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Adamson University in Manila.
Jonas Lim
Vice President of Engineering
Jonas Lim is at the helm of the overall technology direction of Exist’s business unit for services. His in depth technology expertise and experience in implementing business-critical applications and new technology for various verticals continues to rank the company as a global IT solutions provider helping clients revolutionize their business practices.
His previous contributions to Open Source projects in Apache include Jetspeed, Gernonimo, Active MQ, and Service Mix. Jonas holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Adamson University in Manila.
Willex Perez
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Willex Perez is one of the founders of Exist and the key person responsible for Exist’s Sales and Marketing group.
As the VP for Sales and Marketing, he is in command of the development and execution of Exist’s global sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue.
Willex holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the De La Salle University of Manila.
