Winston Damarillo
Founder and Executive Chairman of the Board

Winston Damarillo founded Exist in 2001. He is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of building and creating value for technology start-ups. Winston has founded multiple disruptive companies including Morphlabs, the world's leading provider of converged dynamic infrastructure for Cloud Computing, and MaestroDev, developer of a world-class DevOps orchestration engine for enterprise companies.

Winston's past entrepreneurial endeavors include several companies which he grew to profitability and subsequently sold to major IT players: Gluecode Software, an open source application infrastructure company which was acquired by IBM in 2005, Logicblaze acquired by Iona Technologies in 2007, and most recently, Webtide, acquired by Intalio in 2009.
 
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Winston was among the highest performing venture capital professionals at Intel, having led the majority of his investments to either a successful IPO or a profitable corporate acquisition.
 
Winston is one of the prestigious Young Global Leader (YGL) honorees for 2010 and an active participant of the World Economic Forum, a place where young leaders envision and create a brighter future. He founded DevCon Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to showcase the "IT Pinoy Talent" and was past board member and international marketing director for the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA), a non-profit organization that promotes the growth and global competitiveness of the Philippine software industry. Winston is also a trustee of PhilDev, an organization committed to social development and technopreneurship initiatives for Filipinos in the Philippines and around the world.
 
Winston holds a B.S. in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the De La Salle University.         
Jerry Rapes
President and CEO

Jerry Rapes is President and CEO of Exist and is responsible for leading Exist's corporate strategy and day to day operations.

Jerry joined Exist in 2006 to spearhead the establishment of the company's operations in Cebu. He has served under executive roles including VP of Sales and Marketing (2009-2010) and General Manager (2007-2008). In these capacities, he had been instrumental in improving sales performance, enhancing human resources management and infrastructure, and streamlining company-wide operations.

Jerry is currently President of DevCon Foundation. He is also VP of Cebu Education Development Foundation for IT (CEDF-IT), a consortium dedicated to workforce development initiatives in the ICT and IT-Enabled Services industries. He previously served as Chairman for the Committee on ICT of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI), and Chair for International Marketing and Board of Director of the Philippine Software Industry Association (PSIA) 2010-2011. As part of the leadership teams for these organizations, Jerry provides advice on how to implement best business practices on matters related to the IT industry development, with a particular focus on capability development, marketing and advocacy for IP development.
 
Jerry holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of the Philippines.         
Michael Lim
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer for Exist, Michael "Mike" Lim is responsible for leading the company's daily operations and business strategy. 

A veteran with over 15 years service in the Software & Information Technology (IT) industry, Mike directs and oversees inter and intra-department activities in Exist that will contribute to overall productivity and company's growth. In addition, he is driving the technology agenda and implementation of the company's cloud services business.

Prior to being named COO, Mike served as CTO, where his work and dedication had delivered the engineering team to where it is today. He has played an instrumental role in making Exist stay ahead with emergent technology, tooling, and development methodologies.

Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the De La Salle University and an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
Jonas Lim
VP for Engineering, Exist Healthcare

Jonas Lim currently serves as the VP for Engineering for Exist Healthcare, where he is responsible for the overall technology direction of Exist's Healthcare IT business.

He manages all aspects of information technology and strategic planning for expanding healthcare IT initiatives, including implementation of successful healthcare solutions.

Jonas' leadership in Exist Healthcare’s growth strategy and innovation will continue to position the company to better meet the evolving needs of healthcare organizations.

He is a pioneer member of the Exist engineering team, and as a leader, he has been instrumental in reforming and improving how engineering operates. Prior to his role as VP for Engineering, Jonas established the company's Android mobile applications development group and served as architect behind a hospital information system that Exist delivered for a leading hospital in the Philippines. He previously contributed to open source projects in Apache including Jetspeed, Geronimo, Active MQ, and Service Mix.

Jonas holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Adamson University.

Catalino Pineda
VP for Engineering

Catalino "Cata" Pineda oversees engineering services delivery and plays a key role in enabling operational excellence.

He runs the engineering department, leading a group of multi-talented technical team, composed of software engineers, architects, designers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers.

Cata brings over 10 years of software engineering leadership to Exist. He has been with the company since its founding.

His past roles include Director for Research and Development and Architecture Office, Software Architect, Technical Lead, Project Manager and Lead Developer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines - Los Banos.

Christopher Silerio
Director, Project Management Office

Christoper "Chriss" Silerio is currently the Director in Project Management Office (PMO) at Exist. He plays a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects throughout the organization. He provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing methods and procedures to streamline the development process and improve the project delivery.

Chriss joined Exist in 2008 and has been instrumental in setting up the Project Management Group in the company. He also led the creation of a Project Management dashboard that enables easy management of project monitoring.

Before his stint at Exist, Chriss was Project/Technical Lead for Misys, a software company that specializes in creating software for financial industry. He has also been a Project Manager and System Analyst coming from industries such as Telecommunications and Finance. Chriss is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and a PMP Cetified Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, from Adamson University.
